Deliberate combat, radical platforming, and a story that'll stick with you for all the wrong reasons.

Barbwire Rodeo's combat runs on an arcade pinball and air hockey twist. Knock enemies into a ricochet state, then smack them into other foes, bumpers, slot machines, explosives, and whatever else the room's got lying around.

Play as Dino as you fight your way through the metropolis maze of Jackpot City and claim the million-dollar prize. Gamble your way through as you enter rival gang territories and fight through waves of cops, gang bangers and sewer sh##t monsters.

Inspired by the DIY-punk scene and late-night nostalgic teen culture, with high-octane gameplay and a story about late-stage capitalism and side quests with enough trauma to feel like a kick to the gut.

EVERY HIT IS A SETUP. EVERY ARENA IS A SCOREBOARD.

Barbwire Rodeo's combat runs on an arcade pinball and air hockey twist. Knock enemies into a ricochet state, then smack them into other foes, bumpers, slot machines, explosives, and whatever else happens to be in the blast radius.

Arenas grade you on how well you build combos and use the environment against everyone in it. Higher scores mean better rewards: rare items, cash, sometimes entirely new routes through the map.

It's never as simple as it looks. Every arena plays differently.

A BILLION DOLLARS ON THE RADIO. DINO DIDN'T THINK TWICE.

South end of Jackpot City, local hero Dino De Rocco hears about a $1,000,000,000 raffle over the radio and takes off without thinking twice. The prize is waiting at a casino on the North end. Getting there is the hard part.

Between here and there sits Jackpot City: a crumbling coastal hellhole where the tap water turns citizens into mutants, zoo animals vanish daily, and a newly elected mayor is making everything worse with an army of cheaply built robot cops.

And Dino's not the only one who heard the broadcast. His so-called friends know about the money too, and they're racing for it just as hard. Beating them means taking every opportunity available: roadblocks, collapsed bridges, and a few tactics better left unlisted here.

ONE MAN'S TRASH, ANOTHER MAN'S TREASURE. DUCT TAPE, CHARMS, AND WHATEVER KEEPS DINO SWINGING.

Items are survival and absurd munitions and powerful weapon mods are the only thing standing between one save point and the next.

Weapon Upgrades
Duct-tape black magic charms to a hockey stick or whatever else is lying around. Buffs range from raw attack power to pure luck, and some come with a chemical kick that sets things on fire.

Items
Grenades and gadgets built for the fights that go sideways, or the getaways that need to happen fast. Buy them from stores, win them mid-fight, or find them hidden across the map.
